Hanoi’s Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum reopened to visitors on November 3 following its annual maintenance closure, restoring access to a major stop on the capital’s heritage circuit.

Vietnam Television’s November 3 report confirms the reopening and the winter visiting timetable. Visits run from 8am to 11am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and until 11.30am on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. All times are local.

The mausoleum normally closes to visitors on Mondays and Fridays. An exception applies on the first day of the Lunar New Year, when visits continue even if it falls on one of those days.

The winter schedule covers November 1 through March 31. Tuoi Tre’s report also confirms the reopening after the maintenance period scheduled from September 4 to November 2.

Travellers combining a visit with nearby sites should check each attraction’s separate opening hours. The Presidential Palace historic area, stilt house and other neighbouring attractions do not automatically follow the mausoleum’s timetable.
