The Greek completed the second-round match in two hours and 14 minutes, according to the WTA’s official results. Joint took the opening set, but Sakkari conceded only three games in each of the next two to turn the contest around.

Sakkari finished with seven aces and two double faults. She won 44 of 57 points behind her first serve and converted five of 14 break opportunities, Tennis.com’s completed match record shows. Joint converted three of six break opportunities in the Centre Court match.
