Two limited-edition Häagen-Dazs products are scheduled to reach shops across Japan on November 3, according to the company’s launch announcement. The autumn additions pair chestnut with cassis in a Crispy Sandwich and raspberry with chocolate in an ice cream bar.
The Chestnut and Cassis Parfait sandwich contains milk ice cream with chestnut sauce, a cassis coating and wafers. The Raspberry Gâteau Chocolat bar combines chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake and raspberry sauce inside a bitter-chocolate coating.
Each carries a suggested retail price of ¥373 including tax. The sandwich contains 60 ml, while the bar contains 72 ml. The company lists supermarkets, convenience stores and department stores among the nationwide sales channels.
Gourmet Watch independently reported the November 3 release date and the two flavour combinations. Both products are limited-time additions, but the announcement gives no fixed withdrawal date. The stated rollout covers Japan.
