The Ministry of Food Processing Industries launched a redesigned official website on November 4, with multilingual support and improved search among the features announced for visitors.
Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan inaugurated the portal at Panchsheel Bhawan in New Delhi. Ministry Secretary Avinash Joshi and other senior officials attended, according to the ministry’s account published by the Press Information Bureau.
The website is intended to provide citizens and food-industry stakeholders with access to information about policies, schemes, programmes and ministry activities. The announcement says search and navigation have been improved to make relevant material easier to find.
The ministry also says the redesign incorporates enhanced data-protection and security mechanisms and follows current Government of India website standards. Those are the ministry’s stated features, rather than the findings of an independent security assessment.
The ministry lists mofpi.gov.in as the official website address. The release does not list the supported languages or announce a new grant, application deadline or change in scheme eligibility. Users looking for assistance should consult the relevant scheme documents on the portal.
