CrowdStrike announced agreements on November 3 to acquire Fiddler and Dreadnode, two businesses focused on monitoring and testing artificial-intelligence systems. The transactions have been signed but have not yet closed.

Fiddler provides tools for evaluating AI systems before deployment and observing their behaviour in operation. CrowdStrike intends to incorporate those capabilities into Falcon Observe, with general availability planned for the fourth quarter of its 2027 financial year.

Dreadnode develops automated testing for AI models, applications and agents. Its team is expected to join CrowdStrike’s Cyber Superintelligence Lab, supporting work intended to identify weaknesses before systems are deployed.

The announcements were made during Fal.Con Europe in Barcelona. CrowdStrike said the purchases would be funded mainly in cash, with some stock subject to vesting conditions. It did not disclose the transaction prices.

Both acquisitions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027, subject to customary conditions. The proposed integrations and availability dates remain company plans, rather than services already delivered through the completed acquisitions.
