The Bengal Food Festival 2026 is taking place at Bangiya Samaj in New Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park through 6 November, bringing regional food and craft traditions from West Bengal to the capital. The event was inaugurated on 30 October and opened to the public from 31 October, TV9 Bangla reported.
The festival highlights sweets associated with different districts, including mihidana and langcha from Purba Bardhaman, sarbhaja and sarpuria from Nadia, and Joynagar moa. Darjeeling tea and Kalimpong coffee also feature in reporting about the event.
Alongside food, the programme includes handloom and handicraft products, with state-linked organisations participating, according to TV9 Bangla. The event offers visitors a chance to explore more than one part of Bengal’s regional food culture in one venue.
Visitors should check directly with organisers for current opening hours, entry conditions, availability and any programme changes before travelling. The dishes available at individual stalls may vary.
