Bar Douro is scheduled to open its third London restaurant at 10 Greek Street in Soho on November 4, adding a new address for Portuguese cooking in the West End.

The operator’s current Soho page confirms the date and says chef Neuza’s menu combines established Bar Douro dishes with recipes developed for the new restaurant. The opening follows the group’s London Bridge and City locations.

A central feature is vaca velha, beef from older cows of native Portuguese breeds. Bar Douro says the cattle are at least six years old, with the breed and supplying farm changing from week to week, and the meat cooked over an open grill. This is the restaurant’s description of its sourcing, rather than an independently assessed quality claim.

Hot Dinners’ opening guide also lists November 4 and identifies the premises as the former home of the restaurant 10 Greek Street.

The venue says groups of up to 14 can book online; larger parties should contact the restaurant. Visitors should check current service times and availability before travelling.
