Vidarbha beat Madhya Pradesh by an innings and 20 runs in the Ranji Trophy at Nagpur on November 4, with Harsh Dubey’s 14 wickets leading the home side’s bowling effort.

The BCCI match centre confirmed the completed result and named Dubey player of the match. Madhya Pradesh made 209 in their first innings and 105 in their second, while Vidarbha’s only innings ended at 334 for nine.

Dubey followed his opening-innings nine for 53 with five for 37, according to CricRadio’s match report. Parth Rekhade took the other five wickets in Madhya Pradesh’s second innings, returning five for 14.

Between those bowling performances, Akshay Wadkar’s century and Nachiket Bhute’s 97 helped Vidarbha establish a 125-run lead. Madhya Pradesh needed to erase that deficit simply to make the hosts bat again, but their second innings lasted only 33.3 overs. The match, scheduled through November 5, was settled on its third day.
