Trom Industries announced on November 4 that it had received a purchase order from Zydus Pharmaceuticals for a 1 MW rooftop solar power plant.

The order is worth ₹3,20,99,996, approximately ₹3.21 crore, according to Trom’s NSE disclosure. Its scope includes supply, design, installation, testing and commissioning. The filing says supply is to be completed within 12 months.

Trom classifies the customer as an international entity in a special economic zone and the contract as an international order. It does not identify the site, so the announcement does not establish that the plant will be built outside India.

The company said the transaction was not a related-party order. This is an award-stage announcement: it does not report completed installation, electricity generation or a commissioning date.
