TRAI launched its Network Anubhav platform on November 4, bringing consumer connectivity tests and the regulator’s independent drive-test results into a map-based dashboard.

The service draws on measurements from TRAI’s MySpeed and MyCall apps. Users can examine results by location, operator and network technology, with separate views for mobile and fixed broadband. Download and upload speeds are among the displayed measures, alongside tables and downloadable reports.

The regulator cautions that consumer-generated results are not a comprehensive assessment of network quality under a standard testing method. They show the experiences recorded by participating users in particular places, rather than guaranteeing the performance every subscriber will receive.

The portal also provides web access to Do Not Disturb services. Consumers can set preferences for commercial communications, submit complaints about unwanted calls or messages and track complaint progress.

Telecom operators receive a secure view of technical measurements to help investigate locations needing attention. TRAI says the aggregated information can support monitoring of consumer experience. The platform is available at anubhav.trai.gov.in.
