Tawang’s administration has reviewed preparations for the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav, scheduled for November 12–16, with about 500 artistes expected to take part. A coordination meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo examined accommodation, transport-related arrangements and support for visiting performers.
According to Arunachal24’s November 3 report, North East Zone Cultural Centre director Alobo Naga said artistes would start arriving from November 10 for rehearsals and preparations. Groups from all eight northeastern states are expected to participate alongside representatives from other zonal cultural centres.
The review covered temporary Inner Line Permits for participating artistes and officials, venue preparation, water supply and catering. Angmo asked the organisers to send a representative ahead of the festival and directed officials to involve local entrepreneurs and self-help groups in accommodation and related services.
The five-day event is intended to showcase traditional music, dance and regional heritage. The report does not provide a public performance timetable or visitor admission arrangements, so those details remain to be confirmed before planning an individual visit.
