SPML Infra said on November 4 that it had secured a ₹186.41 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India for extensions at the Bhadla-III substation and Ramgarh Pooling Station. The disclosed amount excludes GST.
The company’s regulatory disclosure says order intimation arrived by email and the formal letter of award is still awaited. Execution is planned over 27 months from that letter’s date, or according to its eventual terms, so the announcement should not be read as a construction completion.
The company’s accompanying release describes work under the 765 kV air-insulated-switchgear extension package SS-155T. The scope includes transformer and line bays at both sites, which form part of a wider transmission-system augmentation.
Bhadla and Ramgarh serve western Rajasthan’s renewable-energy generation network. SPML says expanding these substations will support the connection of more renewable electricity to the national grid. The project adds extra-high-voltage infrastructure capacity through extensions to existing facilities, rather than announcing a newly operational power-generation plant.
