The Sikkim Cherry Festival is now scheduled to run from November 14 to 28 in Temi, Namchi district, according to a state Information and Public Relations Department update published on November 3.

The latest dates differ from the November 25–28 programme reported in October. Travellers planning around the festival should use the newer official announcement and confirm individual activities with the organisers before booking.

The Temi Tarku Tourism Development Committee and Temi Tea Estate discussed preparations at a November 2 coordination meeting. The IPR account of that meeting lists planned cultural programmes, a flower exhibition, traditional attire and heritage displays, and an evening concert featuring Sabin Rai.

Outdoor activities under discussion include a Tendong Hill hike, horse riding, zip-lining and ATV rides. The Dragon Run is scheduled for November 28.

Officials also reviewed traffic, parking, sanitation and waste management. The committee plans a further coordination meeting with departments, contractors, hotels and other stakeholders. A detailed daily timetable and ticket prices were not included in the announcement.
