State Bank of India opened applications on November 4 for two specialist recruitment exercises covering security officers and fire engineers. Both application windows close on November 25.
The bank’s official Careers page lists 60 Manager or Deputy Manager (Security) vacancies under advertisement CRPD/SCO/2026-27/28 and 17 Assistant Manager–Engineer (Fire) vacancies under CRPD/SCO/2026-27/29. Both are regular posts, with possible postings anywhere in India.
The security roles require a degree plus the specified officer rank and service experience in the armed forces or paramilitary forces. Fire-engineer applicants need one of the listed fire-safety qualifications and the corresponding professional experience. These are specialist opportunities, not a general graduate intake.
The notices provide for an online test followed by an interview. Examination and interview dates are tentative, so applicants should check the official page for updates.
