Government agencies and media units met in Ranchi on November 3 to discuss how to improve coordination and communicate public-service information more effectively.

The Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee meeting took place at SAIL’s Ispat Bhawan in Doranda, at the Research and Development Centre for Iron and Steel. Akhil Kumar Mishra, Additional Director General of the Press Information Bureau for Ranchi and Bhubaneswar, chaired the discussion.

Participants emphasised regular exchanges between departments, timely dissemination of information and feedback from the public. Agencies outlined work ranging from Aadhaar services and digital life certificates to agricultural development, weather forecasts and product standards.

The meeting also heard about rural initiatives and research connected with lac production and beekeeping. Its focus was coordination among organisations already delivering services, rather than the launch of a new public scheme.

For residents, the discussions concern how information about available programmes reaches them. The official account did not announce new eligibility rules, application deadlines or a separate service portal arising from the meeting.
