Paris Saint-Germain beat Villarreal 6-0 at the Estadio de la Cerámica on November 3 after scoring four times inside the opening 17 minutes. The result gave the French club four wins from four Champions League league-phase matches and 12 points.

João Neves opened the scoring in the ninth minute, followed by Désiré Doué in the 12th and Senny Mayulu in the 13th. Fabián Ruiz added the fourth in the 17th minute as PSG established a commanding first-half lead.

The club’s official match report put the time taken to reach four goals at 16 minutes and two seconds. Reuters independently confirmed that it was the quickest four-goal start in Champions League history.

Ruiz scored again in the 50th minute before substitute David Boly completed the scoring in the 78th. Five different PSG players found the net across the evening.

The away side also kept a clean sheet, maintaining its unbeaten European start. Villarreal were left with a third defeat in four league-phase games.
