Mumbai’s Prithvi Festival is under way in Juhu, with its November 1–16 programme combining new theatre productions, music, screenings and workshops. The festival’s official ticketing listing sets out 30 main-stage shows and 11 Fringe presentations at Prithvi House.

Among the early productions is Motley’s 27 Seconds, directed by Naseeruddin Shah with Arghya Lahiri as co-director. The play is scheduled for November 2 and 3. Later programmes include work from groups such as Fats Thearts, aRANYA, Akvarious Productions and the Dastangoi Collective.

The programme also includes six National Theatre Live screenings and three acoustic concerts spanning jazz, Indian classical music and western classical music. The Symphony Orchestra of India lists its festival appearance for November 16 at 8 pm, providing a separately confirmed closing-day performance.

Workshops and smaller shows extend the programme beyond the main auditorium. Audiences should check the individual listing for the venue, language and age requirement before booking. Prithvi’s ticketing notice says seating is first come, first served and late admission is not permitted.
