Peppermint Robotics announced a ₹100 crore pre-Series B funding round on November 4, led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Asiana Fund.
The Pune-and-Austin company said the round combines new capital with secondary share transactions. It did not disclose the split, so the headline amount should not be treated entirely as money entering the business.
In its announcement, Peppermint said primary proceeds would support robotics development, manufacturing capacity, international expansion and recruitment. It plans a North American assembly line in the coming months alongside its existing Pune operations.
The company makes autonomous machines for commercial floor cleaning and material transport. It says its robots operate in nine countries, with the United States its largest market.
The financing supports planned expansion rather than confirming that the overseas assembly line has opened. Peppermint also plans to develop its next-generation cleanroom robotics range.
