Cameron Norrie beat Matteo Arnaldi 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in the opening round of the Rolex Paris Masters on November 2, setting up a meeting with third seed Ben Shelton.

The British player recovered after losing the second set heavily. The tournament’s official report said he took control in the decider and maintained his advantage to reach the second round.

Tennis.com’s completed match record confirms the score from Court 1. Its statistics show both players converted three of seven break points. Norrie served three aces without a double fault, while Arnaldi finished with six aces and one double fault.

Norrie has previously reached the last 16 in Paris twice, in 2021 and 2025, according to the organisers. His next match is listed for the November 3 evening session, not before 7 pm local time. Shelton begins his tournament in that second-round contest.
