The National Land Monetization Corporation held a pre-bid meeting in New Delhi on November 3 for the proposed sale of a 5.119-acre HIL (India) Limited property.
The site is in the Najafgarh Industrial Area along Rohtak Road and Shivaji Marg. Its reserve price is ₹829.69 crore, according to the finance ministry’s briefing. A reserve price is the auction’s stated threshold, not a completed transaction value.
Officials from NLMC and HIL, alongside transaction adviser CBRE India, explained the property’s features, bidder eligibility and technical and financial submission requirements. Participants also had an opportunity to ask questions about the auction documents.
The proposal is for an outright sale through electronic bidding. The land is currently designated for industrial use, with any conversion or redevelopment subject to applicable rules and approvals.
Although the auction was advertised earlier, the completed bidder meeting is the latest step in the process. No winning bidder or completed sale was announced.
The exercise forms part of the government’s programme to sell surplus public-sector land and other non-core assets through competitive processes.
