Mathura’s Braj Raj Utsav has been extended until November 5, giving visitors more time to browse its handicraft market and food court at the Railway Ground in Dhauli Pyau. Local reports published on November 3 and 4 say the extended closing date applies to the exhibition and trading stalls.
Unique Samay reports that the Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirth Vikas Parishad issued the extension order. It says traditional products, handicrafts from different states and the food court will continue operating during the additional period.
MathuraNow’s account, citing deputy chief executive Satish Chandra, links the decision to requests from shopkeepers and artisans ahead of festive shopping. Its report describes approximately 150 stalls, including participants from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka and other regions, alongside Uttar Pradesh’s One District One Product goods.
Displays include Sanjhi art, paintings and khadi clothing. The new date concerns the existing fair rather than a newly opened event. Neither report provides a detailed daily opening-hours schedule for the extension.
