The fourth Maritime India Conference & Expo is bringing shipping, port and logistics businesses together in Mumbai from November 2 to 4. The FICCI event is being held in Hall 4 of the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon East, with support from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
The published programme combines a technology exhibition with keynote addresses, industry roundtables and technical workshops. Port modernisation, shipbuilding and repair, green shipping and coastal connectivity are among the subjects set out in the official event notice circulated by India’s embassy in the Netherlands.
The exhibition also offers a view of equipment being marketed to ports and ship operators. Participating supplier Cavotec lists shore-power systems, crane electrification, vessel charging and automated mooring among the products it plans to showcase at the Mumbai event.
The three-day gathering runs until November 4.
