Lovely Professional University’s SPECTRA youth festival opened on November 2, bringing students from 25 schools together for a three-day programme of creative competitions, according to the university’s report published on November 3.
The 19th Inter School Youth Festival is organised by the Division of Arts and Culture in LPU’s Student Welfare Wing. The university says the programme covers more than 35 competition categories, with the opening day including music, theatre, visual art and public speaking.
In its account of the first day, LPU describes rangoli and debate competitions alongside classical vocal solo performances. A skit competition used the theme Kal, Aaj Aur Kal, inviting participants to work with ideas of the past, present and future. Mime and mimicry were also part of the opening programme.
The report focuses on the initial competitions rather than announcing overall winners. It does not provide a public visitor-entry arrangement or a complete timetable for the remaining activities. Anyone planning to attend should check directly with the organisers for access and scheduling details.
