KPI Green Energy has executed a power purchase agreement with SJVN for a 300 MW wind project connected to India’s inter-state transmission network, the company disclosed on November 3.
The agreement sets a fixed tariff of ₹3.64 per unit for 25 years. Electricity supply must begin within 24 months of the agreement’s effective date, according to the exchange filing.
The contracted capacity comes under SJVN’s 600 MW Wind-3 procurement programme. KPI Green said the project was secured through competitive bidding and described the agreement as part of its expansion in utility-scale wind generation.
The filing does not identify the project site or state, name a turbine supplier, or disclose the investment required. It also does not specify the agreement’s effective date, so the supply deadline cannot yet be translated into a precise calendar date.
The announcement establishes an electricity-sale agreement, not an operating wind farm. Construction progress and the eventual start of supply will be separate milestones.
