Kolkata’s KIFALC Affordable Art Exhibition is set to begin on November 3, bringing paintings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and folk and tribal art together for a 13-day show.
The Kolkata International Foundation for Arts, Literature and Culture lists the exhibition at its KIFALC Centre through November 15. Its official invitation gives visiting hours of 3 pm to 8 pm and places the venue on the fourth floor of P534, Raja Basanta Roy Road, Kolkata.
The Bengal reports that the works will be priced below ₹50,000, with an inauguration scheduled for 6 pm on November 3.
The foundation was formed by members of Kolkata’s creative community and describes support for young talent and cultural exchange as part of its work. This exhibition gives visitors a single venue to explore several visual-art traditions. Visitors considering a purchase should confirm the price, availability and collection arrangements for individual works with the organiser.
