The Khadi and Village Industries Commission has opened Khadi Diwali Fest 2026 at NDMC Palika Park in Connaught Place, New Delhi, opposite Regal Cinema. Read the official announcement.
According to a November 1 statement from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the festival began on October 31 under the theme “Khadi-wali Diwali”. The commission announced discounts of 20% on khadi products and 10% on village-industry products at the event.
The initiative also seeks to introduce younger audiences to khadi through digital channels. The ministry said KVIC had launched a podcast, Baat Khadi Ki, covering subjects including the textile's history, fashion, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The announcement places hand-spun and hand-woven products in focus during the Diwali shopping period. Visitors should confirm opening hours, the closing date and the terms applying to individual products before travelling; those details were not specified in the statement.
