Milk prices in Karnataka were revised from 1 November 2026 following the state government’s approval of an ₹8-per-litre increase, according to reports in The Indian Express and The New Indian Express.

The Indian Express reported that ₹7 of the increase is to go to milk producers, with the remaining ₹1 directed to milk unions for operational expenses. The New Indian Express also reported a revision in curd prices. Individual packet prices depend on the product and quantity, so consumers should check the price printed on the pack or the latest Karnataka Milk Federation notice.

The government has presented the revision as support for dairy farmers. Higher prices can also raise household food bills and the costs of businesses that use milk, although the impact will vary according to how much they buy and the products they use.

The Indian Express reported that the revision followed several earlier changes to milk prices in the state. This article reports the announced revision and does not independently establish prices at every retailer.
