The Department of Justice will hold a workshop on eFiling 3.0 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on November 4, starting at 2 pm. The session is intended for designated government officers who handle litigation, according to the department’s November 3 announcement.
Titled “eFiling 3.0: From Process to Practice”, the workshop will take place in Hall 5. It is being organised under the eCourts Mission Mode Project to familiarise participating officials with electronic filing tools and related services.
The National Informatics Centre will lead technical sessions covering eCourts applications, single sign-on, the services mobile app and eFiling 3.0. The programme also includes facilities available to government pleaders and departments, followed by an open discussion with officers.
The department said the training supports the wider aims of eCourts Phase III, including digital, paperless court processes and broader adoption of electronic filing. The announcement concerns an officer-training workshop; it does not announce a new filing deadline or a change to court procedures.
