India and Poland discussed expanding technology and manufacturing cooperation during a November 2–3 visit to Poland by Minister of State Jitin Prasada, accompanied by a delegation from 12 Indian companies.
Prasada addressed the India–Poland Business Forum at the Polish National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw on November 3. A Commerce Ministry account released on November 4 said the discussions covered investment, business partnerships and opportunities connected with the India–European Union trade agreement.
In meetings with Polish officials, the Indian delegation discussed artificial intelligence, semiconductors, data centres and critical minerals. Agri-technology, food processing and opportunities for smaller businesses were also included on the meeting agenda. These were discussions about possible cooperation, rather than announcements of completed commercial contracts.
ANI reported that Prasada also visited software-engineering company Transition Technologies and defence company WB Electronics. The minister met members of the Indian business community and potential Polish investors as part of the same visit.
