India and New Zealand are scheduled to begin a five-match men’s one-day international cricket series in Auckland on 4 November 2026. The opening match is due to be played at Eden Park.

Both teams have made squad changes before the series. India have added pace bowler Auqib Nabi to the squad for the first three ODIs, Reuters reported on 31 October. He had previously been selected for the final two games.

New Zealand Cricket has also had to adjust its plans. The International Cricket Council reported on 1 November that Rachin Ravindra and Mark Chapman would miss the series. Tim Seifert was made available for all five games, while Henry Nicholls was added for the first three matches and Dean Foxcroft for the last two.

What follows the ODIs?

The ODI series is scheduled to run from 4 to 15 November. A two-match Test series between the teams is due to begin on 19 November. Fixtures and squad availability can change; supporters should check the teams’ official updates before travelling or making plans.
