IGNOU announced an eight-day online orientation programme for higher-education teachers and researchers on November 4, with registration closing on November 13.
The National Education Policy programme is scheduled for November 16–26. Sessions run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. IST, according to the university’s programme flyer. There is no registration fee.
It is organised by the UGC–Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre at IGNOU’s Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education. University and affiliated-college faculty, research associates, PhD scholars, postdoctoral fellows and other educators are the intended participants.
Applicants must register through the Malaviya Mission portal and select IGNOU, New Delhi, the November programme dates and programme ID MMC-142-2026-NOV-A-08731. A nomination letter or no-objection certificate must be uploaded.
The curriculum covers teaching and assessment, multidisciplinary education, research, institutional leadership and digital learning, including AI and cybersecurity. The flyer says the programme is considered for Career Advancement Scheme requirements under UGC guidelines.
