Goa postal customers and eligible pensioners have until November 4 to submit unresolved grievances for regional hearings scheduled in Panaji on November 6.

The Department of Posts announced the deadline on November 3. The Dak Adalat will begin at 11 am and the Pension Adalat at 3 pm at the Office of the Postmaster General, Goa Region.

According to the official notice, the postal-services hearing will consider Goa-region complaints that remain unsettled six weeks after their initial submission. Covered services include mail, Speed Post, counters, savings banks and unpaid money orders.

Those complaints must reach the Assistant Director Postal Services-I at the Panaji office, PIN 403001, in duplicate by November 4.

The pension hearing covers postal-department pension and pensionary-benefit grievances unresolved for at least three months after submission. Policy matters and succession disputes are excluded.

Pension applications may be sent to Mahesh N., Senior Accounts Officer and Pension Adalat Secretary, at the same office, or emailed to accts.goa@indiapost.gov.in by the deadline. Applicants should use the notice to check which hearing and submission route applies to their case.
