Eros Innovation says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with India’s Ministry of Tourism to develop destination films and explore digital cultural experiences for travellers. The company announced the agreement on November 4 following a signing at the India Pavilion in London.

Under the plan described in Eros’s announcement, the company will produce 50 two-minute films about Indian destinations and cultural experiences. The ministry will support their promotion over 50 weeks through Incredible India and participating state tourism channels.

The agreement also creates a framework for evaluating the company’s Cultural AI technology for possible use on approved tourism websites and applications. A proposed multilingual travel companion would explain places, traditions and cultural experiences, but any integration remains subject to technical and institutional approvals.

Eros describes its role as a non-exclusive, non-binding and non-financial knowledge partnership. The announcement does not set a public launch date for the proposed companion. Travellers should therefore distinguish the film programme and evaluation agreement from a digital service already available to use.
