Eppeltone Engineers disclosed on November 4 that it had received a domestic order for energy meters worth ₹1,07,89,920, or about ₹1.08 crore, including taxes.

The order arrived on November 3, according to the company’s NSE filing. Execution is scheduled by March 2027.

The buyer is described only as a domestic entity or organisation. Eppeltone did not identify the customer, the number of meters, their model or the location where they will be installed. The filing does not describe the order as a smart-meter rollout.

Eppeltone said the transaction is not with a related party and that its promoters and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity. The disclosed amount is the value of the supply order, rather than revenue already recognised.
