The Event and Entertainment Management Association plans to launch EEMA Weddings, a dedicated vertical bringing together professionals and businesses across India’s wedding industry.

The association’s published announcement schedules the unveiling for November 5 at 6.30 pm at SkyDome in Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is expected to attend, according to the organiser.

The initiative aims to give wedding-sector businesses a shared platform for collaboration and engagement with government on policy issues. It will operate within EEMA’s wider organisation rather than as a newly announced government scheme.

In EVENTFAQS’ November 4 report, EEMA president Deepak Choudhary described the aim as a stronger collective voice for the sector. Executive vice-president Mahavir Pratap Sharma emphasised coordination among its diverse professionals and creative businesses.

The scheduled launch places the discussion in Rajasthan’s destination-wedding market. The announcement does not establish any new government incentive, regulatory change or completed policy agreement. Attendance and the programme remain subject to the organiser’s arrangements.
