Bengaluru construction-technology startup ECOPATH has raised ₹2.25 crore in seed funding from Social Alpha and Gemcorp, according to reports published on November 3 and 4. The capital is intended to expand manufacturing capacity and strengthen supply chains, research and hiring.
Founded in 2024, the company develops concrete using industrial by-products, including steel-industry waste, and proprietary binders instead of conventional cement. Its product range includes pavers, kerbstones, drains, blocks and other construction components.
The funding supports expansion of an existing business rather than the first launch of its material technology. ECOPATH also provides road and external-infrastructure services, combining material supply with project execution.
StartupTalky’s November 4 report said Bengaluru would remain the priority as the company targets additional markets including Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and Mumbai. Neither the size of each investor’s contribution nor a company valuation was disclosed. The company’s claimed emissions savings remain its own estimates; the funding announcement does not establish independently verified environmental performance across all applications.
