Cutter Gauthier scored three times as the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5–4 at Rogers Arena on November 3. He became the first player in Anaheim’s history to record hat tricks in consecutive games, following his three-goal performance against Ottawa.

The Ducks converted all three of their power-play opportunities. Gauthier scored twice with the extra skater, while Mikael Granlund supplied the other power-play goal. Leo Carlsson added a short-handed goal as Anaheim built a 4–2 lead through two periods.

Gauthier completed his hat trick early in the third period to extend the advantage to 5–2. Jake DeBrusk then scored twice for Vancouver, bringing the hosts within one, but the Canucks could not find an equaliser.

Beckett Sennecke finished with four assists, setting up each of Gauthier’s goals. Laurent Brossoit made 19 saves for Anaheim, which improved to 7–7–1. The Ducks have scored 10 power-play goals from 12 opportunities over their last three games.
