Dell’s new 14S laptop went on sale in India on November 3, with prices starting at ₹79,990 including taxes. The release adds a lightweight 14-inch option aimed at students and everyday computer users.

According to News9’s launch report, all four colours are available through Dell’s online store. Linen is also available through physical retail channels, while Dusty Rose, Washed Denim and Velvet Green are expected to reach those outlets by the end of November.

The range offers Intel Core 5 and Core 7 Series 3 processors, with configurations reaching 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage. Display choices include a 60Hz panel and a higher-resolution 120Hz option, so specifications vary with the model selected.

Dell quotes a starting weight of 1.15kg and claims up to 21 hours of Netflix streaming. That is a manufacturer test figure, not a guarantee for ordinary mixed workloads. Buyers comparing configurations should distinguish the starting price from the cost of higher-memory and higher-resolution versions.
