CAT 2026 admit-card downloads will open on November 6, two days later than the previously announced date, according to reports citing a fresh November 4 media release from the examination organisers.
Careers360 and Shiksha reported that eligible candidates’ admit cards had been generated, but the download window would run from November 6 to November 29. Candidates will need their application login ID and password on the official CAT website.
The revision concerns access to admit cards, not a postponement of the examination. CAT remains scheduled for November 29 in three shifts. The reports also say that an official mock test, containing sample questions to familiarise candidates with the computer-based interface, will become available on November 6.
The announcement does not mean the download link is already active. Candidates should use the official portal for their individual examination centre, allotted session and reporting instructions once their admit card becomes available. The reported statement does not specify an exact activation time.
