Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has secured four equipment and services contracts from Adani Power, according to a stock-exchange disclosure dated November 4. Each contract is valued at ₹5,000–7,000 crore excluding GST, putting their combined disclosed range at ₹20,000–28,000 crore.
The work covers boilers, turbines, generators and associated auxiliary equipment, together with agreed services. Each of the four projects comprises two 800 MW units, representing 6,400 MW of planned generating capacity across the contracts.
BHEL’s filing identifies Adani Power as the domestic customer but does not name the project locations. It says execution will follow the customer’s project requirements, without publishing individual delivery dates.
The announcement confirms orders for future equipment supply, rather than the commissioning of new generating units. BHEL also stated that the contracts do not constitute related-party transactions. The disclosed price bands establish the scale of the business secured, but do not provide a single final aggregate contract price for all four projects.
