The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 opened at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 2 November, bringing together government representatives, investors and technology companies to discuss clean energy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event, according to his office.

The summit runs from 2 to 5 November and carries the theme “Invest. Innovate. Inspire.” The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy said the programme includes an exhibition, a national hackathon and a renewable-energy quiz. Thirteen states and Union Territories were listed to showcase their renewable-energy potential and investment opportunities.

Before the event, organisers said participants from more than 130 countries were expected. The stated country partners included Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Those are participation plans, not a final attendance tally.

The Prime Minister’s Office said the summit builds on the earlier RE-INVEST platform and is intended to facilitate engagement on investment, policy, manufacturing and technology. Announced ambitions and potential investment opportunities should not be treated as completed projects or guaranteed funding.
