Krafton India has set December 10 as the launch date for BGMI Air, with closed beta testing scheduled for November 20–24 in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, according to Moneycontrol’s November 4 report.

The lighter edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India will operate as a separate application. Its initial download is expected to be approximately 1GB, targeting players with limited phone storage or less powerful devices.

FoneArena also reported the launch schedule and said the game had surpassed 14 million Google Play pre-registrations. That company-reported figure represents advance sign-ups, rather than downloads or active players.

Selected beta participants will try the game before its public release and provide feedback. Applications are being directed through the game’s official social-media channels.

Moneycontrol reported that detailed device requirements and further feature information had not yet been shared. More pre-launch information and rewards are expected through official community channels before December 10.
