The second Bengaluru Skill Summit opened at The Lalit Ashok on November 3, bringing Karnataka government officials, employers and education institutions together for a three-day programme on workforce development.
The state’s Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood is organising the event, with the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation and Karnataka Skill Development Authority. The official summit website confirms the November 3–5 dates and advertises the second day’s programme for November 4.
Three publications were released at the opening: the 2026 Karnataka Kaushalya Sampada skill handbook, Karnataka Talent Landscape 2026 and the second edition of Karnataka’s Workforce Blueprint 2030. National Skills Network’s inauguration report also records recognition for the state’s participants in the WorldSkills competition held in Shanghai.
The three-day programme includes policy discussions, industry sessions, masterclasses and a skills exhibition. Its agenda covers emerging technologies, green-economy skills, labour-market information and international workforce mobility and employment pathways, with discussions continuing through November 5.
