Bayern Munich beat Atlético Madrid 2-0 at the Metropolitano on November 3, with Lennart Karl and Konrad Laimer scoring after a goalless first half. The away victory came in the fourth round of Champions League league-phase matches.

Bayern had more of the ball before the interval but found little space against Atlético’s organised defence. Karl and Harry Kane had opportunities without making the breakthrough, leaving the teams level at half-time.

The opening goal arrived in the 54th minute. As described in Bayern’s official match report, Karl seized the ball from Robin Le Normand inside the penalty area and lifted his finish over goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Laimer made it 2-0 in the 74th minute after Kane found him with a pass inside the box. The Austrian finished from a tight angle, giving Bayern a more comfortable advantage for the closing stages.

Independent coverage from Claro Sports corroborated both scorers and the timing of the goals. Bayern maintained their clean sheet to complete the away win.
