The National Testing Agency opened applications on November 3 for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2027. The test covers admission to Classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools for the 2027–28 academic year.
The official NTA notice sets December 2, at 11:50 pm, as the deadline for applications and fee payment without a late charge. A separate December 3–6 window carries a ₹500 late fee. Corrections are scheduled for December 7–9.
The pen-and-paper examination is scheduled for January 31, 2027. NTA plans to announce examination cities on January 11 and make admit cards available from January 25. The city announcement is separate from the admit card.
Families should read the information bulletin before choosing a class and school, including the eligibility conditions and school-wise seat details. Applications must be made online through NTA’s examination portal. The result date has not yet been announced.
